Directions from Salt Lake City: Take Interstate I15 north through Utah and Idaho to Montana. Take Monida, the first exit in Montana. Monida is the old railroad stop  town. The paved road quickly turns into a dirt road. You will see a sign for Lakeview which is the restored ghost town now the Environmental Humanities Education Center. You will follow the gravel road 26 miles into the Centennial Valley until you reach the Center. Look for  the Red Rocks Lake Wildlife Refuge Headquarters on your right and immediately beyond that is the Center. Stop at the Visitor Center sign. There is no cell phone service once you leave Monida.
